Milan still battling PSG for Renato Sanches

Published on: 03 July 2022

According to reports in Italy, Milan are not entirely out of the running for Renato Sanches, as PSG have not agreed terms with LOSC.

The midfielder is down to the final year of his contract in Lille and is valued at €20-25m.

The Rossoneri had seemed to be sure of a deal until Paris Saint-Germain intervened with the promise of reuniting with his former Lille coach Christophe Galtier.

However, MilanNews.it insist that the situation is still very much up in the air and no decision has yet been made.

The original demands of the player and his agent Jorge Mendes may well have changed, but Milan remain an option for his next destination.

Things have also changed for Milan, as late on Thursday night they finally signed the contract renewals for directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, so can now at last begin to set a real transfer budget for this summer and close on deals.
