Moldovan giants FC Sheriff Tiraspol have completed the signing of Ghanaian forward Abdul Basit Khalid, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
Khalid is moving to Sheriff on a free transfer after parting ways with Tunisian giants Espérance Sportive de Tunis by mutual termination.
The 25-year-old joined Espérance from New Macedonian club Makedonija Gjorce Petrov in January 2021.
Khalid was lethal in the Macedonian league before his move to Tunisia having netted 8 goals with 3 assists in 14 appearances.
The former Dreams FC player managed three goals in 24 matches in all competitions for Espérance last season.
Khalid has previously played for FC Prishtina in Kosovo and also KF Teuta in Albania.
