NSA informs Ghana FA to move 2022 World Cup play-offs to either Baba Yara or Accra Sports Stadium
Current state of the Baba Yara Stadium pitch

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has written to the Ghana Football Association to consider the Baba Yara Sports Stadium or the Accra Sports Stadium for the 2022 World Cup play-offs between Ghana and Nigeria.

In a letter sighted by GHANAsoccernet.com, the Cape Coast Sports Stadium which has been  the home venue for the Black Stars during the qualifiers would be unavailable.

The Cape Coast Sports Stadium will be used for this year’s Independence Day celebrations on 6 March, the letter stated.

Ghana host Nigeria in the first leg of the final round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in March which is scheduled to come off between March 23-29, 2022.
