PICTURES: Ghana FA officials visit injured Tema Youth goalkeeper Christian Addai after surgery

The Ghana Football Association has sent well wishes to injured Tema Youth goalkeeper Christian Addai who suffered a horrific injury against Bibiani Gold Stars in the Division One Super League Cup competition.

Addai collided with Andrews Baidoo of  Gold Stars in the 84th minute, breaking his leg in the process, and had to be rushed to the hospital. 

On Wednesday, the Tema-based club confirmed the player has undergone surgery and will be out for months.

"We're glad to bring to the notice of the general public and the sporting fraternity that our Captain Christian Addai has successfully undergone a surgery on his broken leg. Thank you all for your fervent prayers and support," wrote the club on Twitter.

Officials from Division One League Super League Committee led by Vice president Mark Addo who doubles as Chairman of the LOC and Terry Maxwell Aidam, Vice Chairman of the LOC. Others included George Aforklenyuie – LOC Member and Tournament Coordinator Mark Addo visited the Tema Youth captain after his surgery to wish him a speedy recovery.
