King Faisal coach Nurudeen Amadu has said their target is to finish in a respectable position in the Ghana Premier League this season.

Amadu's side are currently occupying the top spot after beating Asante Kotoko in the Kumasi derby on Sunday.

Forward Zubairu Ibrahim scored a superb hat-trick as King Faisal recorded a 3-2 victory - and their first league win against Kotoko in seven years.

"The victory means that we are on course but it is too early to say anything but we believe that if continue working hard, we can get a respectable position on the league table at the end of the season,” Amadu said.

The Isha Allah Boys have collected 13 points from a possible 18, an impressive achievement considering they almost got relegated last season.

King Faisal are up against Elmina Sharks in their next game and they are expected to win to stay on top.
