Injury forces Badu, Opare out of China friendly

Ghana will miss the services of key players Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and Daniel Opare for the China friendly due to injuries.

Udinese's Badu has been forced out after complaining of back pains during training.

He was excluded from the Serie A side’s friendly against Southampton on Saturday.

Belgium-based Opare suffered a foot injury during pre-season and missed Standard Liege's opener two weeks ago.

Opare would have been handed a starting role at his favourite right-back position in the absence of Samuel Inkoom.
