Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom says he will make a 'big imapct' in the Ukrainian top flight after playing his first official game for Dnipro.

The Black Stars right-back is confident that they will finish among the top two clubs in the Ukrainian league by the end of the season.

It was the first official game the Ghanaian played for Dnipro since his US$10m move from Swiss side Basel last month.

Inkoom played the entire duration of the league clash with Tavriya on Sunday that ended 2-2 leaving Dnipro fourth on the league.

The Ghanaian had an excellent game and despite failing to clinch a home victory Inkoom insists they will continue to improve.

"I had an excellent and exciting game and this has given me the confidence that I will make a big impact in Ukraine," Inkoom told Ghanasoccernet.com.

"The league is tough and competition is tough but the guys here are firmly focused on one thing and that's chasing for the title.

"Many of the players here are new but you can see that there's already the perfect understanding and telepathy for growth."

Inkoom is expected to be part of the Black Stars Nations Cup qualifier against Congo on 26 March and the friendly with England later this month.
