Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom says the Black Stars are preparing for only a victory over Congo in Sunday’s vital Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Ukraine-based player says his national team-mates are ‘ready to die’ for their country to get the desired result.

The Black Stars must win the game in Brazzaville to brighten their chances of reaching the tournament to be held in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

Inkoom is part of the team assembled by coach Goran Stevanovic and he is confident the Black Stars can win the game.

“We are ready to ready to die for mother Ghana so that we can win the game and make qualification possible,” Inkoom told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“We have been put through our paces by coach Stevanovic and we are happy with how training has gone so far.

“The Congolese are a tough side and we are going to fight and the win so that we can continue a good path for qualification.”

Ghana are in the same Group I with Congo, Sudan and Swaziland.
