Inter Allies captain Victorien Adebayor wins Man of the Match in defeat to Elmina Sharks

Forward Victorien Adebayor was named Man of the Match in Inter Allies' defeat to Elmina Sharks at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday. 

The Niger international scored and created another as the Eleven is to One lads disappointingly lost to Sharks on match day 4.

Despite creating several chances, the hosts were woeful in defence conceding poor goals to suffer their first home defeat.

However, Adebayor was livelier going forward Inter Allies. He nearly broke the deadlock after just four minutes but his effort was not good enough.

Benjamin Tweneboah  scored the opening goal of the game in the 10th minute.

Victorien Adebayor got the equalizer for Inter Allies in the dying minutes of the first half.

Benjamin Boateng scored the second goal for Elmina Sharks in the 64th minute.

Raphael Ocloo came up with a beautiful strike to score the third goal of the game for Sharks to increase the lead to 3-1 in the 67th minute.

Samuel Armah reduced the deficit for Inter Allies in the 68th minute.

The game ended 3-2 after regulation time with the Cape Coast team picking three maximum points.
