Inter Allies head coach Herbert Addo was highly pleased with his side's opening day performance in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Addo supervised his charges to start their campaign by by dispatching his former side Aduana Stars 2-0 at the Tema Sports Stadium.

Addo pronounced himself, a happy person with the result and the performance in Tema last weekend.

"It was interesting, I was comfortable and wasn't under any pressure. I was only hoping my boys would do what I asked them to do, they did and we got the result. I was happy."

The 'Eleven Is To One' struggled against the 2010 Champions in the early embers of the game, but the gaffer insists it sometimes happens in games against tougher opponents.

"We had a slow start to the day, that was understandable because we played against a very good side," Addo said.

Inter Allies would hope to build on the opening day victory when they face Liberty Professionals on Sunday in match day two.
