Inter Allies have confirmed the departure of captain Victorien Adebayor ahead of the new season.

The Accra-based club have sold Adebayor to Danish second-tier side Hoge KB.

"We are excited to announce that our talismanic forward Victorien Adje Adebayor has joined HB Koge, which is part of Capelli Sport’s global network of clubs," Inter Allies announced on their official website.

The transfer was completed on Sunday when the player was officially unveiled by his new club. The Nigerien signed a three-year contract.

According to the Danish club, Adebayor is their most expensive signing, though they didn’t disclose how much they paid to Allies.

Adebayor was arguably the best player in Ghana last season as he scored 12 goals in 13 games.
