Inter Allies FC are close to signing Liberian youngster Chauncey Freeman ahead of the upcoming season, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The 19-year-old will arrive in Ghana from Monrovia on Saturday to conclude personal terms and a few other details with the Accra based side.
Freeman, who is one of Liberia’s brightest prospects, spent the 2019/2020 season in Israel playing for Hapoel Ramat Gan Givatayim in the second-tier.
He joined from Watanga FC after impressing in a three-week trial.
The highly rated forward scored 19 goals and provided 16 assists in 35 appearances for Watanga in the 2018/2019 season in the Liberian top-flight.
Freeman was part of the Liberia U20 team that finished runners-up in the WAFU tournament in 2019 in Monrovia making 5 appearances and scoring two goals.
He made his Liberia senior debut also in 2019 against Sierra Leone in an international friendly.
