Inter Allies FC goalkeeper Saeed Salifu is gradually becoming a cult figure in the Ghana Premier League with his exploits after another Man of the Match award.
Despite his side's 2-1 defeat at newly promoted Karela United FC in Nzema-Aiyinase on Sunday, he was named best player.
He became the first opposition player to be named man of the match at the Crosby Awuah Memorial park.
But for Salifu's display, Inter Allies FC would have lost by a wider margin.
The 21 year-old has made nine appearances in the top-flight so far for the Eleven Is To One side this season and has kept five clean sheets.
Salifu has emerged man of the match in two successive away games which is an usual in the premier league.
He was the reason why Inter Allies FC recorded their first away win in the league this campaign when they beat Wa All Stars 1-0 a fortnight ago.
