Inter Allies whiz kid Evans Mensah hope his Black Stars experience can propel his performance at club level in the Ghana Premier League.

The talented winger earned a late call-up to join Ghana’s squad for the double-header against Mozambique last week.

Mensah had training with the high profile names in the squad but did not make the bench in the two matches.

“I am going to my club to do what I do, do what I do in matches because is through those matches I got the opportunity to the Black Stars team,” he told TV3.

“And make sure I respect my colleague and coaches if I go back to my team so that at the end of the day they get positive things to take about me.

“For now I need to work very hard when I go back to my team because they will be expecting a lot from me.

“So I need to keep on working extra for myself and my team as well.”

Mensah is highly rated in the Ghana Premier League after winning three man-of-the-match awards in five matches.
