Inter Allies technical chief Klutse reveals pressure from fringe players accounted for their defeat at Liberty

Inter Allies technical chief Willie Klutse admits the team succumbed to players pressure in making a wholesome change to their squad in their 2-1 defeat at Liberty Professionals.

The Tema-based side failed to improve on their 2-0 win over Aduana Stars after losing in Dansoman.

Inter Allies surprisingly made seven changes to the squad which conquered Aduana Stars at home.

But the club's technical director Willie Klutse admits pressure from fringe players seeking for playing time accounted for their defeat.

“There were a lot of rumours in the team amongst players who didn’t get the chance to play against Aduana Stars that they should also be given the opportunity to play for the sake of winning bonus," he told Happy FM

“And because we have Elite Cup, FA Cup, in addition to the league to play, we decided to test their strength against Liberty Professionals.

“Per what they showed in the game, they are not up to the level we expected."
