Inter could let midfielder leave club

Should an interesting bid arrive for the midfielder, Inter are reportedly prepared to allow Marcelo Brozovic to depart the club this summer.

The Croatian international has become a key figure for the Nerazzurri, featuring in 51 matches for the club since his arrival from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2015.

However, the Italian side will be willing to let go of the player for €25m, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, with Brozovic reportedly liking the prospect of moving to the English Premier League, namely either Arsenal or Liverpool.

He initially joined Inter on a one-and-a-half year loan but was signed permanently this summer.

With the 23-year-old’s employers being linked with moves for other midfielders such as Zenit St Petersburg’s Axel Witsel and Sporting Clube de Portugal’s Joao Mario, however, it could be the right time to accept a move away from the club.

Brozovic played in 35 matches across all competitions last season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.
