Inter Milan balk Sulley Muntari exit reports

Italian giants Inter Milan have denied controversial Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has expressed  his desire to leave the European Champions in the January transfer window.

Muntari was spotted leaving the San Siro Stadium after being left out of the first team that played Juventus on Sunday.

Many Italian newspapers claim the Ghanaian had demanded to leave the club, but Inter have stepped in to deny Muntari spoke about a possible exit.

A club statement said: "The midfielder Sulley Muntari would like to express, across Inter.it, that he 'has never given any interview or comments over the last few days."

"On Wednesday, October 6, some claims appeared on Sky Sports.com. But the midfielder would like to inform that he has never spoken to that site and, in general, with any other media." the statement continued.

Muntari is set to meet manager Rafael Benitez over his actions.
