Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini appears to have shut down the prospect of signing Andrea Pirlo.
The New York City FC midfielder has been linked with Inter.
“He is a great player who decided to have a different experience after winning everything in Italy," said Mancini.
"I haven't spoken to him, but as far as I know he doesn't intend to return."
