Inter Milan eyeing Muntari-Modric swap deal-reports

Italian champions Inter Milan are willing to offer Ghana international Sulley Muntari to Tottenham Hotspurs to be able to land  Spurs’ playmaker Luka Modric.

According to reports in the English and Italian media, Tottenham coach Harry Redknapp, who is a big fan of Muntari, and would gladly welcome the Ghanaian back to England.

Muntari impressed under coach Redknapp at Portsmouth where he helped them to win the English FA Cup two years ago.

Redknapp will however not want to get Muntari at the expense of Modric who had been in impressive form at White Harte Lane resulting into the qualification to play in the next edition of the Champions League.

The 25-year-old has been called into the Ghana national team’s provisional World Cup squad which starts camping from 22 May in Paris.
