Italian giants Inter Milan have began negotiation to re-sign Ghanaian International Alfred Duncan from Sassuolo.

The midfielder began his career in Italy with the Nerazurri's as an academy product before moving on to Livorno to gain more play time.

Following several transfers, the 24 year old settled at Sassuolo where he has become a key player for the club. His performances has seen him attract interest from the top sides in Italy.

However, his former Club Inter Milan looks to be in pole position to sign the midfielder.

According to Sky Sports Italia, Inter Milan are revamping their squad for the return to the UEFA Champions League after six years and Duncan is high on the club's plan.

Alfred Duncan could cost Inter Milan 9 million pounds in the summer should a deal be reached.

The former Ghana U-20 midfielder previously played for Sampdoria, Livorno and Inter Milan.
