Inter to sign Banega on a free transfer

Inter have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega in the summer on a free transfer.

The 27-year-old has made 14 La Liga appearances this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists and he has previously been at a host of top clubs including Atletico Madrid and Valencia.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Nerazzurri have secured the player’s signature and he will join the Italian giants in June as a free agent.

However, it has also been suggested that Roberto Mancini’s side have made an attempt to lure the Argentine to the club in this transfer window, but have thus far been unsuccessful in doing so.

But it is claimed that club president Erick Thohir has not given up in his efforts in bringing Banega to the club by the end of this transfer window.
