Cameras captured some unbelievable scenes at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Nigeria and Egypt. In a stadium with a listed capacity of 25,000, around 40,000 fans crammed themselves inside the venue for the match.

The floodlights, the big screen and the tops of stands were used as improvised seating or standing areas by thousands of supporters wanting to watch the game.

The match ended a 1-1 draw, with Etebo Oghenekaro striking for Nigeria before Roma's Mohamed Salah equalised for the Egyptians.
