The Ghana striker has been in fine shape for BK Hacken in the Swedish top-flight which began three weeks ago.

Waris, 20, has scored four goals in their last two matches and has targeted to score more than 20 goals this season.

After scoring twice in Thursday's 4-2 victory over Mjällby, the former Right to Dream Academy graduate is beaming with confidence to make an impact this season in the Swedish top flight.

In this short interview, he compares last season to his current form and describes himself as a natural goal scorer.

GSN: Congratulations for scoring your fourth goal in two games for Hacken. How do you feel after the game?

AMW: It is a great feeling when you know your hard work is paying off and it is always a good feeling scoring goals all the time.

GSN: Viktor Prodell has also come up and he is scoring a lot of goals; four goals in three games. How are you going to beat him to the crown?

AMW: I just have to keep scoring that is the only way I can do it. And for me I believe and hope I can do it and do it well. Hard work is the bigger factor.

GSN: What is the difference between this season and last season?

AMW: I started last season with an injury and it hampered most of my season but I hope to stay fit this season and prove a point to everybody.

GSN: Do you really believe you can win the goal king award?

AMW: I always believe I can score more goals. So I stand a big chance of winning.

GSN: Are you still targeting 20 goals or you have raised the bar?

AMW: I will always score Insha Allah! More goals.

GSN: Abdul Majeed Waris thank you very much for the time.

AMW: You are welcomed. I'm running to the mosque. Laughing!!
