Muniru speaks to GHANASoccernet.com on his ambitions and his brother's mentoring.

In your first match, you played only for only. Were you tired?

No. I wasn't tired ( Laughing out loud). I had a great game and really enjoyed myself out there on the pitch. It was just great that my dream of playing professional football is being realized.

What was the feedback you had from your clubmates or coaches after debuting?

Everyone was happy with me. I was the youngest player in the squad at that time so senior guys loved what I game the team. It is unfortunate we couldn't win that match. I also surprised a lot of my teammates because it was my first match and they were not expecting me to adapt to the conditions very fast. Thanks to Allah, I had a wonderful game.

Were you surprised by your form in the first match?

No. Not at all (Laughing out loud). I played a lot of friendly matches with the team in Spain and so I got to know my teammates fairly. More importantly, I believed in myself and needed to justify that I am a good player.

How is the level of the Romanian Premier League?

This is my first top level league I am playing in but I must admit that this is a great here. All the teams here play well and the clubs have a perfect mix of young and experience players too. I am so happy to start my career here.

Is there pressure on you to perform because of your senior brother Sully Muntari of AC Milan?

No, I don't think so at at all. That is rather helping me to play good as well because he has been my mentor. Muntari talks to be me and teaches me a lot things about the game and how to become a high level professional footballer. So for me, I think there is no pressure on me at all.

What are your objectives for the season now that you have set the tone.

I want to play good football and grab the headlines in every game Insha Allah and also help my club to achieve something this season. Playing in the UEFA Champions League with CFR Cluj will be a dream come through.
