Isaac Twum ends season on a high with Sogndal

Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Twum finished the season on a high note for Sogndal in the Norwegian second-tier league.

The hardworking midfielder joined his new side from Mjøndalen after playing 51 matches in 2 seasons for them.
He walked straight to the team for the second round were he played 12 matches and scored twice with an assist as a defensive midfielder, sometimes as a central midfielder.

The 2017 WAFU champion played a total of 27 matches this season, featuring 12 times for Sogndal and the rest for Mjøndalen.

Despite not getting promotion to the top tier and also not failing to make the Playoffs, Twum believes it was a good season for him and hopes to make it a better one next season.

After 30 matches, Sogndal finished 7th out of 16 on the league table with 43 points. They scored 55 times and conceded 53, winning 12 times. 7 defeats were recorded and 11 draws.
