Ishmael Yartey delighted with first Black Stars training

In-form winger Ishmael Yartey claims feels at home after training with the Black Stars for the first time on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old, who spent the season on loan at Swiss side FC Servette, helped them to secure a Europa League.

Yartey scored eight goals in all competitions and fancied for a starting role against Lesotho on June 1.

His senior national team call-up was the first since a bribery allegation against former Ghana Under-20 coach Sellas Tetteh in 2009.

Yartey expressed delight after the work-out session at the Accra Sports Stadium.

"It was good to meet the other Black Stars players and they are very good. I trained for the first time with them and it was very delightful," Yartey said on Tuesday.

"I will do my best to do for the Black Stars what I have been doing for Servette and I will try to impress the coach so that I can stay with the team."

Yartey is owned by Portuguese side Benfica.
