Ghanaian striker John Antwi will play for Zamalek next season after his club Ismaily accepted a US$ 750,000 offer from the White Knights.

Ismaily president Mohamed Abou El-Seoud announced on Monday both clubs have reached a deal.

''We reached an agreement with Zamalek concerning Antwi's transfer,'' El-Seoud said on a TV programme.

''The player expressed his desire to leave the club and we decided to sell him to Zamalek.''

The 21-year-old leads the scorers chart in the Egyptian Premier League with 11 goals and regarded as one of the best foreigners in the league.

Antwi becomes Zamalek's eighth new-signing after the return of midfielder Ibrahim Salah, Ittihad El-Shorta's trio Khaled Qamar, Ahmed Dwidar and Maarouf Youssef, Egypt's U-23 duo Mohamed Abdel-Razek and Ahmed Samir and Ismaily's defender Saleh Moussa.
