Ghana striker Issah Abass uncertain over his Utrecht future with contract set to expire

Ghanaian forward Issah Abass is facing an uncertain future with his contract at FC Utrecht nearing expiration but the Dutch league has been suspended becasue of the coronavirus pandemic, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.

The 21-year-old joined the Dutch side on a season long loan from German outfit Mainz 05.

The contract of the Ghana youth international runs out this summer and remains unclear if he will remain with the side.

Abass made just one appearance for Mainz 05 before his loan departure to the Eredivise.

He is now facing an uncertain future amid the coronavirus pandemic which has crippled football around the globe.

He signed a five-year deal with Main O5 last year.
