Asante Kotoko forward Naby Laye Keita says it hasn't been easy for players after going two months without football due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

The Guinean attacker revealed how passionate he is about the game, insisting the lack of football has made life uncomfortable for him.

"For me it's all about the game. Football is our passion and if you stay a month or two without football or doing nothing it's not easy," he told Kotoko Express App.

"But because it is a general thing we have to take it like that," he added.

Despite the lack of football, Keita disclosed that he has been engaging in personal training to stay fit in the event of the return of the league.

"I tell all the time in the evening after breaking my fast," said the devoted Muslim. "I do my own training at home and some of my friends like Gyamfi and Felix, they also come there to play with us."

The lanky forward has been a key member of the Porcupine Warriors this season, helping the team to third place before the enforced break by coronavirus.
