The Italian Government has allegedly reaffirmed their stance on the 14-day quarantine and insists on a mandatory isolation of the whole team in case of a single positive test.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports that the quarantine decision set by the CTS remains in place after a meeting between the FIGC President Gabriele Gravina and the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza.

The newspaper writes that the Government has decided to ‘follow the decision taken by the Technical and Scientific Committee’.

Therefore, the whole team will be subjected to a mandatory 14-day quarantine in case of a new positive test.

Serie A has been scheduled to resume on June 20, whilst the Coppa Italia will initiate the resumption of football with the return legs of the semi-finals on June 12 and 13.
