Interpreted as a tension gesture by some pundits, due to not being a regular at Juventus, the elbow jab Italian international striker Simone Zaza (24) hit Genoa defender Armando Izzo with led former Sassuolo player to get a well-deserved red card. His agent, Christian Maifredi, talked about that, and especially about his forthcoming future, to TuttoJuve.com: "The referee chose to sent him away, probably a too severe choice. He's been obviously surveyed by several clubs during last winter session, but he thinks Juventus is a fantastic context to be in, and he wants to have a long course there. Crystal Palace? They didn't submit any offer, but I know they are fond of him". Zaza is currently on a deal with Serie A giants until June 2020, and his ownership is esteemed around 16 million euros.
