It’s unacceptable for Kotoko to lose consecutive games – George Kennedy

Former Asante Kotoko management member George Kennedy is concern about the clubs performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors came under intense pressure after succumbing to four consecutive defeats in the Ghana Premier League. But a 2-0 away win over Aduana Stars ensured the Porcupine Warriors bounce back to winning ways.

The Ghanaian giants have managed five wins, three draws and four defeats in the domestic top-flight. And with 18 points, the Porcupine Warriors find themselves in the 7th position after 12 matches.

George Kennedy, who is a former management member of Kotoko was in attendance when the club defeated Future Stars in the FA Cup to advance to the round 32 at the weekend.

“We need to do things better as a club (Kotoko). It’s not acceptable for Kotoko to lose consecutive games. As we return to Baba Yara Sports Stadium, we hope and pray that things go well for us. We are tired of losing and it’s time to win games” he told Kessben FM, as followed by Ghanasoccernet.com.

Asante Kotoko will face archrivals Hearts of Oak in matchday 13 at the Baba Yara Stadium when the Ghana Premier League bounces back next week.
