Tottenham striker Harry Kane believes that he has had to work harder than most others to claim his place in world football.
The Spurs youth academy graduate has emerged as one of the most prolific strikers in the Premier League over the past 16 or so months after his phenomenal breakthrough campaign with the North London club last season.
"It's not come easy for me," 22-year-old Kane said in an interview with FourFourTwo.
"I've probably had to work harder than most to get where I am. I think other fans and other professionals appreciate that."
This season, Kane has scored eight goals in the Premier League plus a further two in the Europa League.
