Former Asante Kotoko star striker Ahmed Toure is on the brink of joining rivals Accra Hearts of Oak after arriving in the Ghanaian capital.

The 27-year-old will be at Hearts of Oak's ATTC training grounds on Monday evening to for head coach Herbert Addo to assess his qualities.

Hearts officials have opened talks with the player's representatives and a deal is expected to be in place before the end of the week if Herbert Addo is pleased with his work-rate.

The Phobians have also opened talks with former TSG Hoffenhiem striker Prince Tagoe who is a free agent.

Tagoe is also likely to be present at the club's training on Monday.
