Jeffrey Schlupp starts for Crystal Palace against Chelsea

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has made one change to his line-up for today’s match against Chelsea, with Jeffrey Schlupp coming into the team in place of Max Meyer.

Despite playing their third game in eight days, Hodgson has opted for minimal switches from the side that drew 0-0 with Cardiff City on Boxing Day, with Schlupp – who netted in the 3-2 win against Manchester City last weekend – returning to the team in favour of Meyer who drops to a strong Eagles bench, that also includes Wayne Hennessey who has recovered from a back issue.

Jordan Ayew meanwhile will watch from the substitute bench.

Below is the squad-list for the Eagles:

Palace: Guaita, Wan-Bissaka, Tomkins, Sakho, Van Aanholt, Kouyaté, Milivojevic, McArthur, Schlupp, Townsend, Zaha. Subs: Hennessey, Ward, Dann, Puncheon, Meyer, Ayew, Wickham.

Chelsea: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Barkley, Willian, Hazard, Giroud. Subs: Caballero, Zappacosta, Christensen, Emerson, Ampadu, Kovacic, Morata.
