Anderlecht forward Jeremy Doku scored on his debut for Belgium as the Red Devils walloped Iceland 5-1 in the European Nations League on Tuesday.

Doku was handed his first start as a full international against Iceland at the King Baudouin Stadium.

Roberto Martinez's men fell behind in bizarre fashion through Holmbert Fridjonsson's deflected effort that marked the first of three goals in seven minutes.

Axel Witsel promptly levelled and Michy Batshuayi made it 2-1 to Belgium, who spurned further first-half chances to extend the lead.

But Dries Mertens put Belgium firmly in command early in the second half before Batshuayi doubled his tally.

Doku applied the finishing touches, collecting a wonderful pass from De Bruyne before coming in from the left and curling a sublime finish into the top-right corner.

The 18-year-old recorded 4 dribbles and pass accuracy of 90.9%. He finished the game with a rating of 8.90.

It was the Ghanaian descent's second cap for the Belgium senior national.
