Black Satellites coach, Desmond Ofei has described Jerry Afriyie as a player with big potential.
He made these remarks following Afriyie's impressive performance in the just concluded 13th African Games.
In the final game of the men's football, Ghana faced Uganda at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday evening.
However, Afriyie's 90th minute was enough as Ghana's U-20 male side won gold.
Speaking to Asempa FM as monitored by Footballghana.com, Ofei praised the young striker saying with patience, Afriyie will become one of the best strikers in the country.
"Jerry Afriyie is an explosive striker and the future looks promising. I have known him and I have worked with him and he is a good player.
"He has to be patient because that is what is needed in football and I think at the right time he will come good," he added.
