Jets coach slam players for Kotoko defeat

Mighty Jets coach Jonas Amissah has blasted his team's performance in their 2-0 loss to Asante Kotoko on Saturday in the Ghana Premier League.

Goals from Daniel Nii Adjei and Gideon Baah kept Jets in the drop as one of the three clubs up for eviction.

Amissah-who returned to the side after quitting six months ago-admits his players just failed to match up to the Kotoko who made five changes to its starting lineup from their last game against Hearts of Oak.

"The team didn't play to instructions. These are the players I came back to meet," A despairing Amissah said after the game.

"They (players) were slow in marking and allowed Kotoko to swing their passes together.

"In fact the whole team didn't play well today but this is what we have."

Mighty Jets are now third from bottom with five matches left to be played.
