John Boye donates to widows and widowers of Teshie Mangoase amid COVID-19 outbreak

Black Stars and FC Metz defender of John Boye has donated food items to widows and widowers of Teshie Mangoase in the Greeter Accra Region of Ghana.

Boye who was born at Teshie says he can’t forget his people and Ghanaians in this situation of Coronavirus.

According to him, it’s good to give than to receive and there are more blessings when you give than always to receive.

The donation took place at the Spirit of Angel Church located at Teshie Mangoase with his family making the donation on his behalf.

The items includes bags of rice, frytoil, drinks ,cartons of bottled mineral water,cartons of milo and milk etc.

As at Wednesday April 29, 2020, Ghana has recorded 1,671 confirmed cases of Covid-19, involving 11 deaths.

Boye started his career at Schwepps’ youth academy, where he featured alongside Mohammed Iddi, he later moved to Pro Consult Sports Academy and Miracle FC.

Boye also played for Hearts of Lions in Kpando, Volta Region of Ghana. He then later moved to Rennes also as loan deal.

He is currently featuring for French league 1 side F.C Metz.

John Boy made his Black Stars debut against Gabon on 22 June, 2008. He has so far scored six goals for the Black Stars of Ghana in 67 appearances.
