Ghana defender John Boye has been ruled out of action for the next three  Ligue 1 matches after he received a straight red card in Rennes' 2-0 loss at Nice on Sunday.
The 24-year-old centre-back was just making his second appearance for Les Rouges et Noirs but was sent off for a horrible challenge on Mounier.
Boye will miss Rennes' next assignments against Brest, Ajaccio and Bordeaux.
