John Pantsil satisfied with Swaziland win

Stand-in Ghana captain John Pantsil has expressed satisfaction at Ghana's 2-0 triumph over Swaziland in the 2012 Nations Cup qualifier on Friday night in Accra.

Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan headed home the opening goal just after 10 minutes but the Black Stars struggled to break down the Swazis.

Udinese man Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu swept home a screamer in the 78th minute from 20 yards after being teed up by substitute striker Prince Tagoe.

Pantsil who took over the armband with substantive captain John Mensah and deputy Michael Essien out of the tie due to injuries.

"It is a good victory for us. We are happy with the victory," the Leicester City man said.

"With three points, two goals, there is nothing else I can ask for so I'm satisfied."

Pantsil is likely to lead the Black Stars on Monday in an international friendly against Brazil at the Craven Cottage.
