Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah won the Fair-Play award for the third-place match at the Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The Evian TG centre-back replaced suspended John Boye and gave a good account of himself despite the 2-0 defeat to Mali.
Mensah dropped down the pecking order with the emergence of Boye and made only two appearances at the tournament.
The award presented by Bangryong Kim, Samsung Managing Director for Ghana, was received by stand-in captain John Pantsil at the Estadio Nuevo in Malabo.
