Ghana forward Jordan Ayew has praised his Leicester City teammates after their 2-0 win over Southampton.
Ayew scored his fifth goal of the season, helping the Foxes secure a much-needed victory.
"I'm proud of the boys," Ayew said in a post-match interview. "We got the early goal, it helped us settle down in the game."
Ayew expressed satisfaction with the team's performance and credited the early goal for giving them momentum.
Ayew emphasised the team's determination to finish the season on a strong note, targeting 18th place despite already being relegated to the EFL Championship.
"We will keep on fighting till the end to try and finish as high as possible," he added. The win marked Leicester's first victory in the league since January 26, 2025.
