Lorient striker Jordan Ayew has backed Marseille to finish in the top-three this season.

The 22-year-old, who left the Stade Velodrome side to sign a permanent deal with Lorient feels his former club have what it takes to be among the top-three this term.

“Honestly, I'm not surprised; the coach has changed a lot of things at Marseille," Jordan told Canal Football.

"They are not unbeatable, but they made a good start to the season and will be in the top three, it is a certainty.”

Marseille are back on top after a comeback 3-1 win over Bordeaux 3-1 on Sunday and are just a point above PSG in the French Lique 1.
