Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has suffered a minor knee injury on Thursday during the Olympique Marseille's pre-season.

Early prognosis suggests he has a small patellar tendinitis problem that does not stop him from playing.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands the Ayew will be available for selection in Marseille's first pre-season match against Vannes.

The 19-year-old has been making waves at the team's camp base at the Port-du-Crouesty.

He made 22 appearances and scored twice for Marseille last season.
