A tug of war is looming between Bournemouth and West Ham United for Ghana striker Jordan Ayew.

The Express and Star have reported the two clubs are keen on signing the talented Aston Villa striker.

Ayew, 25, has emerged as Villa's best player in his debut season despite the side's relegation from the English top-flight.

The Ghana international is among a few players who impressed in a dismissal season for the Villa side.

Jordan, a son of Ghana great Abedi Pele, joined Villa from Lorient in a £8.5million move last summer.

After a slow start to Premier League life, he has cemented his place in the Villa front-line, scoring six goals in 23 Premier League appearances for the rock-bottom side.

Media reports have been buzzing with news that Bournemouth and West Ham in particular are interested in signing the hugely talented Ghanaian.
