Olympique Marseille striker Jordan Ayew has began personal therapy to rid his game off violent conduct and needless cautions.

The 20-year-old has already exceeded the number of yellow cards accumulated last season this term and has been summoned to the Disciplinary Committee over a violent conduct.

Ayew’s increasing ‘dirty’ reputation in the French Ligue 1 has drawn a lot of concerns from admirers and supporters especially who believe it has the potential of wrecking the development of the budding Ghana international.

And the youngest son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele admits he needs to start taking steps to address this brewing negative of his game.

“It is for me to control myself. I am at fault. All these cards are negative things I'm working on,” he said.

“I began to make efforts to stop it all and better channel myself. I would not take as many cards in the next six months.”

Jordan unlike his brother Andre, failed to make the provisional Ghana squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged early next year in South Africa.
