Jose Mourinho trains in park and Tottenham issue social distancing reminder

Tottenham have reminded their squad about social distancing after Jose Mourinho was seen putting a group of players through their paces in a park.

Mourinho reportedly took a small training session on Hadley Common in Barnet with Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessegnon and Davinson Sanchez.

A Tottenham spokesperson said: "All of our players have been reminded to respect social distancing when exercising outdoors. We shall continue to reinforce this message."

With the Premier League suspended indefinitely and the country on lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, Mourinho and his staff began live video training sessions with the players last Monday.

All of the clubs in Germany's Bundesliga have returned to training for the first time since the season was suspended due to the pandemic.

The move by clubs, whose players are restricted to training in small groups, came after the German Football League's (DFL) recommendation to stop group practice expired.

Werder Bremen returned to the training ground on Tuesday morning after they were the last team to get the go-ahead from the state.
