Joseph Aidoo's Celta Vigo suffer devaluation of 19.4% due to coronavirus

Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo and his Celta Vigo team have suffered massive financial constraints due to the outbreak of coronavirus in Spain. 

The team has seen the value of players including Joseph Aidoo and marksman Iago Aspas dropped significantly because of the deadly virus, which is sweeping through Spain like fire.

Joseph Aidoo's value according to the transfer market has dropped from 8 million Euros to 6.5 million, a 1.5 million Euros decrease.

The total value of the club has dropped from 181.6 million Euros to 146.35 million Euros, a 19.4 % devaluation.

The effects of the coronavirus has not only affected the club's finances but football in general, with the La Liga postponed indefinitely.

Players of the club are also set to suffer pay-cut as many other countries have already initiated the method of slashing salaries to help fight COVID-19.
