Joseph Attamah Larweh tells Thomas Partey to leave Atletico Madrid for Arsenal FC this summer

Black Stars defender Joseph Attamah Larweh has urged team mate Thomas Partey to leave Atletico Madrid for Arsenal FC in the summer.

Attamah says he will be excited to see the highly rated Ghana midfielder sign for the English Premier League side.

Attamah who plays for Turkish side Fatih Karagümrük on loan from Istanbul Basaksehir is a childhood friend to Partey..

Both players played for Tema Youth FC before moving abroad.

"I will be happy if he goes to Arsenal," Attamah told Citi FM

"He has done it all at Atletico and is well known as one of their best players,"

"He has to move forward to a different league to prove his worth there as well,"

"He needs to let people know that he is capable of succeeding in other places and not just Spain."

Partey has been heavily linked with a move to the English premiership with Arsenal FC ready to activate his release clause to sign him this summer.

The Black Stars midfielder has a release clause of 50 million Euros with his contract with Atletico expiring in 2023.
